HUSH — COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
DRAFT v0.1 — "the rules of the room"
Hush works because everyone here agreed to the same deal. The deal:
CONSENT RULES EVERYTHING
· Nothing unsolicited — ever. Intimate media flows only after you BOTH opt in, and mutual-reveal applies. "They matched with me" is not consent.
· No means the conversation is over. Pressure after a no is harassment.
· What someone shares with you is for you, once. Screenshots are blocked or detected and flagged; trying is a strike, succeeding and sharing is a permanent ban and possibly a crime (most states criminalize non-consensual sharing of intimate images).
BE THE PERSON YOU VERIFIED AS
· Your photos are you. Your age is your age (we verified it — don't test us on the rest).
· One account, one human. No sharing, no "posting for a friend."
NOTHING COMMERCIAL — ZERO TOLERANCE
· No selling content or meets, no promoting paid pages, no payment handles. First confirmed instance is a permanent ban of your verified identity. This is the one rule with no strikes and no appeals ladder.
STRIKES AND BANS
· Minor violations: warning → feature restriction → ban.
· Serious violations (commercial activity, non-consensual content, minors, threats): immediate permanent ban, and reports to authorities where the law requires. Bans stick — they attach to your verified identity, not your phone number.
· Appeals: appeals@hushdate.app. A human reads every appeal.
REPORTING
· Report anything, from any screen — even after it burns. Reporting quietly preserves a safety copy for our team; the other person is never told who reported.
MEETING UP
· Meet in public first. Tell a friend where you're going. You never owe anyone a meeting, an explanation, or a second message.
The short version: be real, be decent, take no for an answer, and never try to keep what wasn't given to you to keep.
